The Summer Cherokee Turnout Rug has all the great features of the Winter Cherokee, but with no filling, making it ideal for warm and wet weather.  It features Shiretex 600 denier waterproof and breathable outer, shoulder gussets, double breast straps, back leg straps anti rub lining, tail flap and the Cherokee's innovative surcingle system which helps to reduce the risk of the rug getting damaged and the horse getting injured because of the surcingles.
